LCD DISPLAYS | OLED Displays | E-Paper Displays

Printec has a diverse selection of robust displays ranging from 1.38” to 26” with various resolutions from QQVGA (160 x 120) to as high as WSXGA (1440 x 900).  Our technologies of TFT’s, Mono-Chrome (character/graphical), OLED’s, and Flexible (E-paper) displays are manufactured with various chip technologies (COG, COB, and COF) and use less power than typical displays.

Accompanied with our various LCD offerings, Printec can also provide you various Touch Screen technologies.  These assemblies can incorporate Resistive (4, 5, 8-wire), Capacitive, Projective Capacitive, and Surface Acoustic Wave design options.

With our expert team of engineers in Human Interface Technologies, we can assist your needs in selecting the appropriate technologies, as well as integrating the complete package for your project whether that includes the display controllers, input devices (touch screen/controllers, membrane switches, silicon keypads, etc.) and enclosures (plastic bezel/housing, metal case, etc.).

E-Paper Displays

E-Paper displays have a high contrast appearance, ultra-low power consumption, and a thin, light form. It gives the viewer the experience of reading from paper, but the information can be changed at the same time.  This is the latest cutting-edge in display technologies.  These displays are enabled by electronic ink that carries a charge enabling it to be updated through electronics.

E-Paper displays offer several alternate advantages over OLED or traditional LCD displays.  Its most attractive advantage, due to its charge ink technology, is there is no power required to maintain an image.  Power is only required to update the image, (i.e. changing the display content).

E-Paper display is a reflective technology which requires no front or backlight. It is viewable under a wide range of lighting conditions, (including direct sunlight), and can be viewed from any angle.

LCD Displays

Printec offers a very large selection of standard LCD displays, both for Mono-Chrome (TN, STN, FSTN, CSTN), and TFT.  The below table provides a short sample list of sizes and specifications for some standard TFT’s.  Our standard displays also offer various other sizes & resolutions, different brightness & contrast, various viewing angles as well as different temperature grades (standard: 0°C to +50°C; industrial: -20°C to +70°C; or extreme: -40°C to +85°C).
